Sunshine Social in Cotton Tree is more than just a café — it’s a destination for exceptional, produce-driven brunch on the Sunshine Coast.
Led by Head Chef Braden Charlesworth, formerly of the ACE Hotel in London, the kitchen brings a refined yet relaxed approach to seasonal cooking. With a deep respect for local ingredients and a sharp, creative edge, Braden has built a menu that consistently draws crowds — with queues out the door a testament to the quality and care behind every dish. All of this is paired with Sunshine Social’s own coffee, roasted locally in Sunshine Beach.
For The Curated Plate, Sunshine Social is teaming up with great friends Seabourne Distillery, who will be curating a bespoke cocktail offering, alongside a showcase of wines from Jamsheed.
Founded by acclaimed winemaker Gary Mills, Jamsheed is known for its expressive, small-batch wines, highlighting some of the best fruit from the Pyrenees, Beechworth and the Yarra Valley. Since opening his urban winery on the fringe of Melbourne’s industrial precinct in 2020, Gary has continued to push boundaries while staying true to site-driven winemaking.
Together, this collaboration brings a unique dining experience to Cotton Tree — where exceptional food, coffee, cocktails and wine come together in one of the Coast’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
