The Sydney Concert Orchestra is a professional orchestra of young emerging musicians and artists, looking to grow their passion and create extraordinary music.
The Sydney Concert Orchestra was founded in 2022 as an idea by a group of young musicians. By experiencing their own challenges, they were inspired to create an orchestra to grow the music scene not just within Australia, rather internationally. Their vision was more than performing, instead to support and grow the young emerging scene, to create opportunities.
In late 2022, Sydney Concert Orchestra premiered their first concert, "Sydney Concert Orchestra Presents: Dvorak Symphony No. 9", at the historical Verbrugghen Hall in the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. This concert represented the passion and ambition of all the musicians, that they are not here to just perform, but to inspire and create.
Now Sydney Concert Orchestra welcomes all young emerging musicians, to challenge themselves, and most of all, inspire others.
