Our Body Project - A Body Image Workshop for Mothers & Daughters
Join Lana Sussman Davis, Arts Psychotherapist and Tal Rafel Somatic Psychotherapist for a powerful and heart-opening 3-hour workshop where mothers and daughters (ages 13–16) come together to explore body image, self-worth, and the unique relationship they share.
Through gentle movement, creative expression, and meaningful conversation, we’ll build confidence, compassion, and connection—both with our own bodies and each other’s. This workshop offers a safe, fun and supportive space to reflect on the messages we’ve received about our bodies, to challenge unhelpful narratives, and to celebrate all the ways we are strong, soft, changing, and worthy—together.
Includes:
• Guided movement and body-mapping activities
• Paired storytelling and reflective prompts
• Shared rituals to build body confidence across generations
No dance or artistic experience required—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to show up as you are.
