This is the 19th year I have run charity fundraising event GLAM, in support of a small / grassroots Queensland charities, usually a charity that supports vulnerable women and / or children.
Past charity beneficiaries have been The Lady Musgrave Trust, Mummy's Wish, MND & Me Foundation, Olive McMahon Lodge in Toowoomba (run by Queensland Cancer Council), The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, Pindari Women's Shelter in Spring Hill Brisbane, Zephr Education, Global Sisters, Orange Sky Australia, YWCA Encore Program, Second Chance Program, Stationery Aid, Ovarian Cancer Research, Suited to Success, Youth Advocacy Centre, The Romero Centre, Hummingbird House a children's hospice in Chermside Brisbane, Currumbin Wildlife Hospital on the Gold Coast, just to name a few. Together we have raised over $265,000+ for these causes.
This year's GLAM will support two amazing local charities, The Forgotten Women's Project and Formally Ever After.
