The TASA Sociology of Youth Thematic Group provides a collegial forum for collaboration and supportive engagement between youth-focused researchers and those involved in youth research more broadly including community stakeholders and young people. The group advocates for sociological perspectives in multi-disciplinary projects and public debates concerning young people. It also supports publicly engaged youth sociology aimed at improving conditions for young people through sociologically informed policies and programs.
