The Tasmanian Land Conservancy (TLC) is a for-purpose organisation that protects nature on private land. We raise funds to safeguard irreplaceable sites, endangered species’ habitat and rare ecosystems by buying and managing private land. In partnership with others, we look after Tasmania’s unique natural places, for nature’s sake and for the benefit of humankind.
We provide people with opportunities to experience nature, achieve nature conservation and support the work of the TLC. We welcome a diverse range of people to experience private nature conservation through volunteering, reserve visits and events.
Our vision is for Tasmania to be a global leader in nature conservation.
