Incorporated in 2017, we are a not-for-profit, community organisation staffed by volunteers and located in Queensland Australia. Team Rainbow’s mission is to unite Queensland as a place of connectedness and inclusion for all people, through Sport and Pride events. We achieve this objective by hosting and promoting social events and, welcoming and encouraging opportunities for interaction (reducing isolation). We hosted Australia’s first Pride House and are Queensland’s only member of InterPride (hosts WorldPride) and the Federation of Gay Games (hosts Gay Games – the World’s largest Sporting and Cultural Event). Team Rainbow is a Registered Charity.
