Terang and District Progress Association Inc. (TDPA) is an incorporated association with the following statement of purpose:

We will make Terang and the surrounding district a better place to live by;

• Presenting a positive image of the district
• Promoting the district
• Encouraging development and population growth
• Providing a forum for business and industry sectors
• Providing a forum for community consultation
• Lobbying and advocating for better services and facilities
• Building a better community

TDPA runs the annual Colour Terang Festival, a free festival for everyone regardless of age, ability, culture, sexuality or financial status.
