The ad astra vita project
Founded in 2019 by Dr. Rowena Christiansen, the ad astra vita project (Latin for "taking life to the stars") promotes the space life sciences and human health in space. The project provides an open-access resource hub for those interested in space health, aerospace medicine, and extreme environments, connecting individuals to organisations, educational opportunities, and conferences and events, including the Melbourne International Space Festival and the International Humans in Space Summit. The project also hosts a free educational YouTube channel.
As a philanthropic, not-for-profit initiative, the project welcomes contributions, collaborations, and sponsorships to advance its mission. Learn more or get involved at contactus@adastravita.com.
