Michele has been involved in the disability field for almost 30 years, in various roles, both as a professional and as a participant, and has built up their professional capacity over the decades with various studies while working hands on with different organisations and individuals.
Michele’s focus lies in supporting individuals facing challenging life situations, helping them navigate obstacles, and finding solutions through 1 on 1 support, as well as facilitating events, programs, and activities that provide practical tools and guidance to empower individuals on their journey toward their desired goals in life.
Michele has personally navigated a significant spinal injury “Cauda Equina” that required them to relearn how to walk and has been on the journey of implementing a lot of disability professionals and supports for themselves to be able to work towards regaining independence in the world.
