Harriet Blannin-Ferguson is the founder of The Breast Help, a holistic lactation and parenting support service based on the Central Coast of New South Wales. With over 16 years of experience as a Registered Midwife in both public and private hospital settings, as well as attending homebirths, Harriet brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice.
She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and holds a Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health, enabling her to offer comprehensive support to families from pregnancy through early childhood.Harriet's personal experiences as a mother of three, particularly her challenges with breastfeeding and infant sleep, have deeply informed her empathetic and individualised approach to care.
Committed to evidence-based and gentle practices, Harriet has pursued further education in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) and Craniosacral Therapy, among other modalities. Her services include breastfeeding consultations, sleep support, and early parenting guidance, offered both in-person across the Central Coast and Sydney, and virtually worldwide.
Harriet's mission is to provide the kind of non-judgmental, holistic support she wished for during her own early parenting journey, helping families navigate the complexities of breastfeeding, sleep, and early parenthood with confidence and compassion.
