The Collaboration Coach is the practice of Jenny Martin, an experienced technology consultant, facilitator, trainer and coach working at the intersection of people, product and software delivery.
Jenny has spent more than 25 years working in technology and software development, from her early career as an IT consultant in banking across Europe through to working with Agile, Product and Engineering teams across a wide range of organisations. Much of her work has focused on the space where business needs, product thinking and software delivery meet, helping cross-functional teams build shared understanding and turn complex problems into valuable working software.
She is the creator of OOPSI, a collaboration framework that brings together ideas and practices from Product, Lean, Agile, Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and automated testing, and author of the book, OOPSI :Cut Through Complexity and Delivery with Confidence.
Alongside her work in software delivery, Jenny has developed a particular interest in the human side of collaboration: how individual differences, strengths and ways of thinking shape the way people work together. Her practice draws on psychology, facilitation and approaches including LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, strengths-based development and design thinking.
Jenny is also co-founder of the Inclusive Facilitation Exchange (IFE), a growing community focused on designing for difference and creating spaces where everyone can participate and contribute.
Her work brings these worlds together: deep experience of software delivery with an equally strong focus on the people, conversations and shared understanding that make good delivery possible.
