The Council of Christians and Muslims (CCM) is an Auckland-based charitable society. The CCM had its origins in 1996, and was formed by November in time to hold its first public meeting a few months later in 1997. We create opportunities for Christians and Muslims to meet kanohi ki te kanohi and learn from one another. In a diverse Aotearoa New Zealand, our kaupapa is to break down barriers, contribute to a fair and peaceful community, and build relationships shaped by manaakitanga (care, hospitality, and respect).
