The Lady Musgrave Trust is Queensland’s oldest charity – for 140 years it has been providing practical housing support to young women and their children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  It provide safe accommodation throughout Brisbane (in Chermside, Kelvin Grove, Ipswich & Logan) across 15 properties. This Trust-owned property portfolio has been carefully acquired over many years (without any ongoing Government funding) and provides almost 12,000 nights of safety to young women and children every year.  Together with its partners, it provides support services to tenants, and additional information and referral resources to women located throughout Queensland, so they can be safe, identify their goals and progress towards them. The vision of The Lady Musgrave Trust is for women and their children, throughout Queensland, to be free from homelessness and to build a safer, stronger future.
