The PNT Collective is a group of certified Positive Neuroplasticity Teachers in Australia who have come together in their shared passion of passing on the incredibly valuable skills of working positively with the mind. All of the group have studied with Rick Hanson and have been heavily influenced by his work. Some of the group have had the good fortune of being mentored by Rick for many years.

We come from different backgrounds including psychotherapy, coaching, mindfulness, and various well-being practices. We come together to offer this online course with a focus on building a robust psychological toolbox and actively using neuroplastic methods to develop lasting inner strengths.

The teachers are:

Patrick Verryn

Patrick is an executive and organisational coach, as well as a chartered accountant. He uses evidence-based practices such as ACT and CBT and has a special interest in neuroscience. He practices and teaches the PNT course and incorporates the fundamental learnings in his coaching. He is based in Perth.

Reema Shamim

Reema is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Mindfulness & Meditation teacher, Breath Coach, Face Yoga Specialist, Human Design Specialist, and certified PNT teacher. She lives in Hobart, Australia, and provides in-person and online mentoring, life coaching, personal development, and trauma healing programs.

Catherine Robertson

Catherine is a Well-being and Mindfulness Coach, Meditation Facilitator, Inner Child Journey Practitioner, and qualified iEQ9 Enneagram Coach. Catherine’s passion lies in coaching all levels within organizations to be their true, authentic, empowered selves at work and helping to create cultures of psychological safety to maximize well-being. She works from Sydney.

Marina Mandofia-Berney

Marina is an Educational Kinesiologist and Qi-Touch Healing practitioner and teacher, with a Masters in psychotherapy and a Ph.D. in law. She offers sessions combining bodywork, energy work, and talk therapy, in French and English. She incorporates PNT and the principles of Non-Violent Communication into her work. She is based in Sydney, and Geneva, Switzerland.

Catherine Sherlock

Catherine is a Yoga Therapist, Mindfulness Educator, and certified PNT Teacher. She loves to help people develop skills and strengths to thrive and experience well-being. In her small, intimate retreat space in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, she offers classes, workshops, and weekend retreats for people to pause and recalibrate, as well as programs online and in her community.

Barbara Hill

Barbara is passionate and curious about how we grow the Strengths that lead to Resilience and Flourishing.  Barbara has worked in the Community Sector for other 30 years and founded Keys to Resilience with a mission to strengthen the well-being of our health and community services professionals.  Barbara is a professional Mentor, Learning & Development Consultant & Facilitator for the Community Sector, Meditation, and certified PNT teacher.    Barbara is grateful to live and work on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, Naarm (Melbourne).
