The Shirlette Collective is a femme-led creative house built on radical imagination, ancestral memory, and community-rooted storytelling. Founded by filmmaker and educator Shirlette Robinson, the Collective creates original films, immersive events, educational experiences, and cultural movements that feel like rituals in motion.
We are here to make art, space for joy, for grief, for wonder, and for each other.
From underground dinner parties disguised as films to joy-centered afterschool clubs reclaiming Black childhood magic, our work bends genre, genre, and genre again.
