The Australian Government has tasked the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) to undertake initial work to identify opportunities for future reforms to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) pricing. The review aims to gather evidence and provide advice that focusses on improvements that can be made to the way pricing currently works for the NDIS. IHACPA is working with NDIA, the Department of Social Services (DSS) and other government agencies along the way, to ensure any advice aligns with other NDIS reforms.
The Social Deck has been engaged to lead the design and delivery of engagement with community and stakeholders, including NDIS participants and families.
