The Sugar Showgirls were established in late 2021, born out of a passion to create lavish acts, exciting, high calibre burlesque cabaret shows and make people laugh (one of the most common compliments the troupe receives is how much fun people have at the shows). Fusing together a thrillingly tasty combination of classic burlesque, sultry cabaret, modern dance and whimsically silly neo burlesque, the group entertain a variety of audiences across Australia, but the troupe is based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.
The Sugar Showgirls debuted in early 2022 to adoring audiences. The group then flourished and continued to experience hugely popular and sold out shows across the state of Victoria for the remainder of their first year.
