The Third Place, LLC is a consulting and civic engagement organization that helps organizations and communities create spaces of connection, dialogue, and innovation. Inspired by sociologist Ray Oldenburg's concept of the third place--those vital spaces beyond home and work where people gather--we help public institutions, businesses, nonprofits, and civic leaders design initiatives that bring people together, expand opportunities, and advance conversations and connections to build community.
