Located on the edge of historic downtown St. Augustine, Florida, Third Space Improv features improv comedy shows and unscripted theatre
experiences.
Third spaces - communal spaces outside of home (first
space) and work (second space) - serve as informal gathering spaces
where people come together to talk, relax, rejuvenate, and bond. They
are physical spaces for serendipitous productivity-free conversation and
they facilitate connection with old and new friends over a shared
interest or activity. Third Space Improv is where the creative community enjoy each other while sharing laughter.
Besides shows,
Third Space Improv operates a five-level improv training school for
grown-ups. It also hosts workshops and mixers. Through this cooperative
play, strangers become friends, and students realize their full
potential on life's stage.
Third Space Improv also offers team building, team bonding, and team development as well as kids summer camps and after school programs.
The
1,200 square foot studio is available for use by other creatives and
educators, too. There is a parking lot, a stage, and seating for up to
50 people.
