Family and Life Skills Educator
(Youth Mental Health)
Tilda is a member of Anglicare’s Family and Life Skills team, partnering with Anglican churches and schools to deliver theologically sound and evidence based mental health training to youth leaders and other significant adults in young people’s lives.
Tilda has a background in Community Services and Church Ministry as a Caseworker in Anglicare’s Food and Financial Assistance and Disaster Relief programs and in a Pastoral Care role within her local church. During her time as a Caseworker, Tilda worked with individuals and families with complex social, environmental and financial needs. Through her work in Community Services and Church Ministry, Tilda has worked alongside communities impacted by bushfires, floods, COVID-19 and the cost-of-living crisis.
Tilda has completed a Diploma of Community Services Case Management and Pastoral Care units with Australian College of Theology. She is an accredited facilitator of the Youth Mental Health First Aid Australia accredited training course and is currently completing a Diploma of Mental Health. Tilda believes that the Bible and Christianity as a whole, provide critical information and support to those with mental illnesses and it is her passion that leaders in churches and schools will be equipped to pastorally care for the mental health needs of the youth in their care.
