My name is Tina Layne, and I am the founder and Executive Director of Willow Grove Retreats. I am a certified life coach and equine-assisted coach. I have over 25 years experience coaching youth, adults, families, active duty military and veterans. I am a past family team-building mentor and original founding member of the USMC LINKS community at KMCB Hawaii. I am also an experienced horsewoman with twenty years of horsemanship. I am a member of the Equine Assisted Coaching Association and endorsed by World Coach Institute.
I have worked for equine therapeutic non-profits for a decade as an equine advocate, equine-assisted experiential learning facilitator, equine-assisted coach, and riding instructor. I am a firm believer in and supporter of equine-assisted psychotherapy, but I also recognize not everyone looking for self-improvement needs clinical therapy. I started Willow Grove Retreats to focus on those self-growth and wellness aspects using horse-centered activities without a clinical therapeutic component.
I am a Reiki master and volunteer my services to animal rescue organizations. I am also an amateur herbalist and paranormal investigator. I am married with three adult children.
