Tom is a social worker who is committed to strengthening communities, so its members grow to live life on their terms. He has worked in direct practice and senior leadership positions in alternative education and Out of Home Care (OoHC) across Victoria and Tasmania. Tom held the Head of Wellbeing role, before taking on the Child Safeguarding Manager role across a network of Flexible Learning Centre’s.
Tom has experience in working with schools to attain compliance with Child Safe and Student Duty of Care minimum standards for school registration. Tom has been responsible for the development and implementation of education programs for high risk offenders, with a particular passion for men’s mental health.
