Toyah Robinson (b. 2001) is an emerging artist currently based in Magandjin (Queensland, Australia). Robinson’s practice focuses on the inherent interconnectedness between peoples lived experiences and space/place. She meticulously curates imagery of the everyday sourced from both public and private spheres. These elements are combined to create work that feels intimately familiar through refining, intensifying and reifying imagery and experiences that are already available to us in day to day life.
