I am a physician, bass player, and jazz vocalist. I am also a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mom and grandmother. Being a mom, in my earnest opinion is the hardest job I have ever held. Losing my youngest son, Arias Lockheart in May 2021 took me to a place that I didn't even think existed. Since then I have been channeling different ways to manage my grief and found musical performance as one of the most beneficial mechanisms of grief management. My goal in my newly found musical career is to honor my son and to tell his story through music.
