Working in Long Day Care as an Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader, Nominated Supervisor, Mentor and Director over this time with a strong foundation on building relationships with children and families. A strong compliance focus is imperative for a successful service as well as ongoing self-assessment and reflective practice while striving for exceeding practices.

Mentoring staff and effective leadership is another of Tracey’s strengths. Tracey believes that strong mentoring and leadership creates a positive team culture. Ensuring that each individual educator and team member feels valued and their strengths nurture is important in their ongoing development and growth. “We all have something to bring to the team” is a strong philosophy to live by.

Tracey has had endless experience in setting up services from their foundation. Her experience goes beyond long day extending into Out of School Hours Care (OOSH) and Family Day Care (FDC) establishing a large National FDC Service across six (6) states and territories.

Ensuring compliance, policy development, staff interviewing and induction, family enrolments and other areas of business management for a successful Service Approval. Open and respectful communication with each states Regulatory Authority was also essential in the positive development of these services.
Currently Tracey is working as a professional Early Childhood Consultant supporting services with compliance, policy development and review, QIP and SAT support and professional training for Approved Providers, Educators, Educational Leaders and Directors.

She takes on a personal and practical approach to learning and support understanding the pressures of operating and working in Early Childhood in the 21st Century.

Tracey’s knowledge and experience is vast, varied and wide and therefore can be flexible which allows the opportunity to adapt work to suit the needs of individual services and clients (there is no one size fits all). Every service is unique and therefore should be treated as that.
