TRACK C CONSULTING, established in 2019 by Pirooz Jafari, is based on Wadawurrung Country in Geelong.
Born in Iran, Pirooz migrated to Australia in late 1990s as an ambitious photographer. He brought with him a suitcase filled with memories: of war, oppression, loss, love, family connections and old cultural practices.
His experience of witnessing violations of human rights of every imaginable kind throughout his childhood, adolescence and young adult life in Iran ignited a passion in him to pursue legal studies, and Pirooz graduated as a lawyer in Australia in the summer of 2003. Over the years, he has worked in a range of not-for-profit organisations and statutory bodies in NSW & Victoria.
Pirooz is a passionate human rights advocate, community development practitioner and a story teller.
His debut novel Forty Nights, was published in 2022 by Ultimo Press.
