Undercover Artist exists to profile and promote outstanding work by disabled and d/Deaf performing artists.
Originally developed by Access Arts in consultation with artists with disability, Undercover Artist Festival was formed and debuted in 2015 with a collective group of professional performing artists and individuals with disability spanning across theatre, dance, music, cabaret, comedy and more.
Since its debut, Undercover Artist has grown to be so much more than the Festival. Quickly becoming one of Australia’s foremost disability-led performing arts organisations promising to challenge the status quo and provide a platform for artists to showcase their true authentic self.
By connecting with industry professionals, hosting career driven workshops and igniting artists work through one on one mentoring, Undercover Artist aims to be a catalyst for artists with disability.
