Health Communication is a postgraduate series of degrees (from master's to graduate certificate) in the Discipline of Media & Communication at the University of Sydney.
Besides study options for interested students, health communication is an active research area within the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, focusing on the intersection of media, health, personal and organisational communication, sociology and digital technology.
The areas of health humanities, social practice theory, narrative analysis and health equity are key contexts for our analysis of communication approaches and effects. For more information contact the program director, Dr Olaf Werder.
