Waterwatch engages with the community to monitor and raise awareness of our local waterways. Running for over 20 years, the program covers the Murrumbidgee River and Yass River catchments upstream of Burrinjuck Dam - an area of more than 11,000km2.
The Upper Murrumbidgee Waterwatch program is funded by the ACT government and ICON water. The program is delivered in partnership with local catchment groups including Ginninderra Catchment Group, Molonglo Conservation Group and Southern ACT Catchment Group.
