Founded in 2017 by Ingrid Bayer, VA Institute has grown to become Australia's leading Virtual Assistant education and training provider, supporting individuals to establish, develop and grow professional, sustainable Virtual Businesses.
Today, VA Institute is led by Director and CEO Angela Revell, who brings more than 25 years of experience in business, technology and virtual support. Having worked with micro and small businesses across an extensive range of industries, Angela understands the challenges of business ownership and the importance of combining practical skills with sound business foundations. Her experience in the virtual and digital business space dates back to the late 1990s, long before remote working became mainstream.
Since its establishment, VA Institute has supported more than 2,000 individuals in launching their own Virtual Businesses, earning a reputation for premium, industry-led education, practical training and personalised mentoring. Our approach goes beyond teaching people how to deliver virtual services. We focus on helping them become capable, confident business owners who understand how to establish and operate a professional business, attract and work with clients, and build something sustainable for the future.
