Established in 2026, the Victoria University African Association is a student-led organisation committed to celebrating African cultures, strengthening community connections, and fostering a sense of belonging among African students and the wider Victoria University community.
The Association provides opportunities for students to connect through cultural celebrations, social events, community engagement and collaborative initiatives that recognise the diversity of African identities and experiences. We aim to create an inclusive space where students can build meaningful relationships, celebrate their heritage, share experiences and engage with the broader university community.
Through our activities, we seek to promote cultural understanding, student participation, representation and community connection, while celebrating the contributions of African students to university life.
Whether you are looking to connect with the African student community, explore African cultures or participate in our events, we welcome you to be part of the VU African Association.
