The W Club was co-founded by Tessa Lavey, a two-time Olympian and AFLW player, and Liz Quinn, a respected leader and advocate in women’s sport and leadership. They teamed up to create a dedicated home for women’s sport and the fans who love it.
They acquired the Aviary Hotel not just to run a pub, but to create a space where community, sport, and purpose collide. The W Club lives inside The Aviary, but the vision goes beyond the venue; it’s about changing how women’s sport is seen, supported, and celebrated across the country.
