We’re so lucky to live in WA, from our ancient South West Forests to the rugged outback of the Western Deserts and everywhere in between; WA boasts some of the most breathtaking natural wonders on the planet, but our nature is facing some big challenges that could impact our unique WA lifestyle.
That’s where we come in, we already know that WA is better by nature, but we think we can also do better for nature. We also know that the creation of protected areas, like national parks and other things, can play a vital role in giving our nature a fighting chance against the big threats.
National parks are about more than JUST looking after nature, they do a lot of work! They create jobs, boost tourism, support Traditional Owners to manage Country, and make our regional economies stronger. More parks mean more opportunities for both people AND nature.
West Aussies know how to look out for each other — let’s make sure we do the same for the nature we work and live in so it sticks around for future generations to enjoy.
After all, WA’s already better by nature, let’s make sure we keep it that way.
