Wāhine in Tech is a social group that supports women and gender-minorities who work in tech in Te Whanganui a Tara | Wellington. We encourage discussions of the issues, attitudes and challenges we face daily in the technology industry. We welcome all gender minorities, including people who are non-binary, trans, agender, genderqueer and so on. You do not have to present in a femme manner to be welcomed.
We believe in behaving ethically and support each other as peers, role models and mentors. We welcome cis men to attend as supportive allies but the focus is on women and gender minorities.
