Jessie Upton AThR, is a proudly neurodivergent artist, systems and service designer, facilitator, and multimodal creative arts therapist. They are a professional member of ANZACATA, the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association. They hold a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice with a specialisation in Community Arts & Health, awarded by the MIECAT Institute—the Melbourne Institute of Creative and Experiential Art Therapies.
As a Creative Arts Therapist, they work multimodally. This means they value all forms of expression/creating as equal. They work across visual, digital, physical and musical artforms. As a practitioner, they place lived experience at the center. They are trauma-informed, LGBTIAQ+ friendly and neurodiversity affirming.
