Weed Dating Oz was founded in 2026 to create an alternative to the impersonal, screen-heavy world of modern dating, that helps people reconnect with themselves, each other, and the natural world. The team's belief is that meaningful connection grows more easily when we slow down, do something purposeful together, and drop into our senses.
The facilitators at Weed Dating Oz are known for creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where people feel safe to be themselves. They aim to offer a gentler, more human way to meet — whether for romance, friendship, or community connection.
Their hope is that Hobart will be the first of many regional Weed Dating pilots across Australia.
