The Wellington Heritage Festival Trust, founded by Alex Hockley in 2022, is a registered charity (CC62729) that exists to increase public engagement, enjoyment, knowledge, and civic pride in the people, places, and stories of Te Upoko-o-te-Ika-a-Māui, the Greater Wellington Region. We fulfil this goal by organising and promoting an annual, region-wide, community-sourced culture and heritage Festival in the Wellington Region.
