Wellness in Infrastructure is a non-profit organisation (founded in 2018) aimed at identifying and delivering real world initiatives to tangibly and sustainably improve the mental health outcomes for employees within the infrastructure construction sector across Australia.
We are built by industry, for industry. We focus our efforts in the proactive, positive and preventative space for industry professionals. We work to reduce stigma and equip organisations with the tools to support their people - before they reach crisis point.
In 2023, our research with Swinburne University, by Prof. Luke Downey, revealed a startling truth: white-collar professionals in infrastructure construction report levels of depression, anxiety and stress that exceed national norms by 37%! This isn’t just a statistic. It’s a big red flag waving in our faces. A clear call to action for us as leaders.
