Wherenext Theatre Company (WNTC) is Sydney’s newest production company, reinvigorating music theatre with fresh faces and innovative productions. Founded by A/Prof Dr. Narelle Yeo, Ruby Baird and Teo Persechino, alongside other graduated artists from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music; WNTC is not a program, but a performance-driven initiative that gives emerging artists the opportunity to refine their craft in creative, technical and performance disciplines, while gaining performance credits straight out of tertiary education. WNTC focuses on producing performances in unconventional theatrical spaces, providing one-of-a-kind interactive theatre experiences for performers and audiences alike. In the interest of seeing where Australian theatre can go, we endeavour to create spaces for young writers/creatives to workshop their work with live performers, also helping to build strong industry connections for the young people involved.
