A quiet voice has followed me for most of my life…This voice tells me to create theatre. This voice tells me to be on stage as a storyteller.This voice tells me to take the leap….For years I have ignored this voice. I have pushed it down so that it has become barely a whisper. But now that voice has resurfaced. It is loud, it is powerful, it is sure.
To quote my favourite writer Cheryl Strayed “Make the leap. Jump high and hard with intention and heart” And so….. Wild Hearts Theatre Company is born.
Our first production will be Tiny Beautiful Things a play based on my favourite book by the same name also written by Cheryl Strayed. I am terrified, filled with nerves & self doubt….But I know my wild heart will guide me as I take this leap into the beautiful unknown. My biggest inspirations are my three children who are each represented by a heart in the logo. Follow along for updates and information as we bring Tiny Beautiful Things to life on stage at Yeppoon Little Theatre in July 2025.
