About the Host – Women's Auxiliary, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community ACT
The Women’s Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community ACT is a dynamic and service-driven organisation dedicated to fostering peace, understanding, and community harmony. As part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a global Islamic movement established in 1889, we are committed to the principles of love for all, hatred for none and service to humanity.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is known for its humanitarian efforts, interfaith dialogue, and promotion of peace worldwide. In the ACT and around Australia, Ahmadi Muslim Women actively engage in charitable initiatives, interfaith programs, and social welfare projects. Each year, we proudly host the Annual Peace Symposium, bringing together leaders, policymakers, and community members to promote dialogue on peace and social cohesion. Our members also participate in volunteering, fundraising for charities, and supporting vulnerable communities.
Through events like this Iftar, we continue our mission of building bridges, fostering unity, and sharing the true teachings of Islam—peace, love, and respect for all.
