Yarra Riverkeeper Association works in support of a Yarra, Birrarung that is healthy, protected and loved.
We are an independent community-based organisation advocating for the health and protection of the Yarra, Birrarung river, its tributaries and its lands. We recognise and celebrate the river as a living entity and understand that what is good for the river is good for all - Burndap Birrarung burndap umarkoo.
We are a registered environmental charity governed by a committed Board, supported by a small, dedicated staff team, volunteers and a passionate membership. Our work is funded through grants, donations and fundraising, and we focus every dollar on achieving real outcomes for the river.
