For 6 years I ran Early Adopters Hub, connecting 50 software and AI startups with around 80 accounting firms and their SME clients across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Working with both sides, the people building the tools and the small businesses deciding whether to use them, taught me that the biggest barrier to new technology is human behaviour, not the tools.
