Fine Choral Programs for Young Singers
Founded by Mark O'Leary OAM in 1990, the Young Voices of Melbourne (YVM) exists to create choral music of a high standard and to foster excellence in music education in the community.
Young Voices of Melbourne Inc currently runs five choirs catering for young people aged 6 - 30, including the YVM Training Choirs, Young Voices of Melbourne, YVMen (for secondary school aged people with changed or changing voices), and Exaudi for young adults.
YVM also offers Early Childhood music classes for babies and pre-schoolers.
Entry is by audition, and auditions are held each November, or at other times depending on availability of places.
