The Zonta Club of Cradle Coast is a volunteer-led service and advocacy organisation serving communities across Tasmania's North West Coast, from Wynyard in the west to Forth in the east.
Chartered in 2018, our club is one of four Zonta clubs in Tasmania and forms part of Zonta International, a global organisation working to build a better world for women and girls through service, advocacy and education.
While our projects focus on supporting women and girls locally, our club is about much more than service. At its heart, Zonta is about connection.
We are women from a wide range of backgrounds, professions and life experiences who come together with a shared desire to make a positive difference in our community. Through regular meetings, social catch-ups, community events and hands-on projects, we build friendships, support one another and create a strong sense of belonging.
Our members are passionate about improving the lives of women and girls, whether that is through practical service projects, advocacy campaigns, fundraising, community education or supporting international initiatives such as Birthing Kits.
Throughout the year, we work alongside local organisations, community groups, businesses and government agencies to address issues affecting women and families across the region. We are proud to support initiatives that promote safety, dignity, health, education and opportunity.
Like many modern volunteer organisations, we continue to evolve and adapt. We recognise that people are balancing careers, families, caring responsibilities and personal commitments, and we are committed to creating a welcoming and flexible club culture where every contribution is valued.
Above all, the Zonta Club of Cradle Coast is a community of women supporting women.
Together, we are building friendships, strengthening our community and helping create a better world for women and girls.
