The Zonta Club of North Sydney supports local and global projects which contribute to building a better world for women and girls. Local actions include producing breast care cushions for women recovering from breast cancer surgery, and supporting the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia by assembling and funding birthing kits. The Club advocates for policies to address the rising number of mature-aged women facing homelessness and for improved services for women impacted by family and domestic violence. Globally, Zonta Clubs contribute to international projects to end child marriage, improve girls' education and expand access to services for women in developing countries who are victims of gender-based violence. Zonta International is also active in calling for action to solve the crisis of climate change and achieve greener, cleaner and equal societies.
