Inspired by Django Reinardt's Quintette du Hot Club de France, the legendary Chai Tent of Woodford Folk Festival, and many road trip jam nights along the east coast; Hot Club is the place where connection and creativity thrives.

Musicians, artists and creative enthusiasts gather in the Jam Room of Rat Planet Studios for an evening of jamming, exploring art projects; sharing ideas, support and keeping the arts industry alive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a ticket? 
Yes! Tickets are required so we can manage attendee capacity and provide you with door codes to access the studio.

How much are tickets?
We don't want anyone to be excluded based on financial ability so we have made our tickets Pay-As-You-Can. We appreciate any donation to allow us to keep providing for the creative community.

Is there alcohol at this event?
Hot Club is a straight-edge event where we connect over hot drinks, good vibes and our authentic creativity.
At this event we do not provide any alcohol.

Can I promote my creative projects?
YES! We welcome all creative projects to be shared and promoted on the night. If you have any physical projects to share (artworks to be displayed, vinyls to be played or sold, flyers for upcoming events) please contact us in advance if you'd like to display in the studio.

Can I bring instruments or art supplies?
While we do provide an awesome range of House Instruments and Art Supplies, you are more than welcome to bring your own on the night as well.
