Hot Gospel Groove Choir

Quentin Eyers directs the Hot Gospel Choir of North Adelaide and the Gospel Groove Choir of Willunga, combined to become Hot Gospel Groove for an exciting afternoon of spiritual and secular gospel style a cappella singing. With a special guest singer Therese Willis, expect the newly redeveloped and opened Marino Community Hall to be shaken to its foundations. The cafe renovations are not yet complete and will not be open, but there is a full BYO license and cabaret style table and chair seating so please bring your own refreshments to enjoy.

Proceeds to go to Circle Of friends Australia, which consists of local community groups supporting refugees and asylum seekers living in the community, or visiting those in detention. Irrespective of varying political views, we believe Australians are welcoming, generous and compassionate people, and we try to demonstrate these Australian values towards people seeking protection in Australia. This concert is in support of Lesley’s Circle C113. Lesley Walker is a foundation member of Hot Gospel Choir North Adelaide, and is an active and tireless advocate for refugees.
