Welcome to Third Rodeo's Hotel Sappho Event. Come Join us on the evening of Saturday 10 August for social drinks at New Britannia Hotel, Darlington Sydney. It is a casual, but charming atmosphere, privately booked out for you to socialise among the Lesbian/Queer community. Grab your bloody shiraz from the bar and turn strangers into dearest companions. Limited spots available.

We'll greet ya at the door, tick ya name off and give you a name card. 

★ Name Game: You never know who you'll meet. Get given a guests name upon arrival and make it your mission to find them. There’s a question on the back to ask them if you’d like. This game creates chatter, banter and memories. The connections are boundless.

Note: Once you ask someone their name, even if it is NOT your person, you should exchange questions (-:

★ Third Bingo! We will play a game of bingo/scav hunt. You'll get given a bingo sheet and it'll be your mission to complete it. eg. "Find someone with the same star sign as you", "Make a handshake with someone and perform it to someone else", "Ask someone this question:..."

★ Pool Table! Make sure you bring some spare change!! 

★ Call me cards: Keep in contact with each other. Write your details down on one of the 'Call me Cards' displayed around the venue and give it to them. It's a lovely gesture, an old fashion trick that works like charm!

Third Rodeo Background

THIRD provides a safe dedicated Lesbian/Queer space for people in their 20s+ to make connections. The vibe is relaxed, charming, a bit raunchy at times, but most importantly its a safe community. Come solo or with pals - whatever you decide, you will be left made with real connections.

We've hosted several successful events in Naarm/Melbourne, on Gadigal Land Sydney, and now Meanjin/Brisbane. I've personally met all my beautiful queer friends through this. I understand how daunting it may be to rock up alone and speak to people, but you'll soon realise that everyone wants the same thing and that everyone is so incredibly friendly. If you haven't already seen my Tiktoks or Instagram, the vibe is like The Planet from the L Word - HAHA!
